Xavier has just released official backports of the layout libraries for Android 2.1, 2.2, 2.3.3, 3.0 and 3.1. This will make the WYSIWYG rendering in the layout editor work a lot better when you use any of those versions as your Rendering Target. It will also unlock various features, such as ListView previews, and TabView rendering, for those versions. To install, make sure you have ADT 12, and then open the SDK manager (either via Eclipse, or from the command line using tools/android):  In the SDK manager, choose the "Installed packages" category on the left, and then click on "Update All..." button and follow the instructions. Then, restart Eclipse. |
